Presidential Finalist Forums at GCC, April 21
Two public forums to meet and interact with the four finalists for the position of President of Glendale Community College (GCC) will be held Thurs., April 21. The forums will be hosted by the Office of the Chancellor of Maricopa Community College District, Dr. Rufus Glasper.

1.) 1:00 – 4:15 p.m. – Campus Forum 2.) 5:15 – 7:30 p.m. – Public Forum
Both will be held in the Glendale Community College Student Union Cafeteria 6000 W. Olive Ave. Glendale, Ariz. 85302
1.) Campus Forum (open to the public; RSVPs are not required)
1:00 - 1:45 p.m. - Dr. Richard Duran, President, Desert Vista Campus, Pima Community College; Tucson, Arizona
1:50 - 2:35 p.m. - Dr. Deborah Blue, Associate Director, Policy and Research, Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges; Novato, California
2:40 - 3:25 p.m. - Dr. Sharon Blackman, President, Auburn Hills Campus, Oakland Community College; Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
3:30 - 4:15 p.m. - Dr. Wilfredo Nieves, President, Middlesex Community College; Middletown, Connecticut
2.) Public Forum (open to the public/ RSVPs are not required)

At both forums, each finalist will provide a brief personal introduction and closing comments, apart from other finalists. Audience members may question each finalist. A facilitator will assist in conducting the forums. Attendees will receive biographical information about each finalist and will have the opportunity to provide written feedback.
