GCC Presents Free "Digital Storytelling," Feb. 23
On Wed., Feb. 23, Glendale Community College Communication Professor Dr. Holly McKinzie Beene will demonstrate and discuss the art of "Digital Storytelling: The Back Porch of New Media." The free program will be presented at 7:00 p.m. in the Glendale Public Library Auditorium, 5959 W. Brown. Digital Storytelling is a blend of memory, mementos and new technologies available to anyone with access to a computer. Founded on the premise that each of us is creative, original and has something important to say, the program will show how a strong personal voice lends meaning and power to small amateur narratives. Learn how to rescue your memories from lonely lives in unorganized boxes, albums and computer folders bursting with digital images, and capture the small stories that make up our lives! For more information, call 623.930.3550.
