"CIRCLE OF LIFE" CELEBRATION TO HONOR WAR DEAD, APRIL 30

The Native American Student Association (NASA) at Glendale Community College is sponsoring a "Circle of Life" celebration to honor Arizona war dead in Iraq, on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at noon. Focused in part on native American soldier Lori Piestewa, the program will include Native American drummers and a five-man color guard detail from Army Reserve Unit 164th CSG based in Mesa. This remembrance of lives lost will be held on GCC's central mall, 59th and Olive Avenues in Glendale. The community is invited to attend. There is plenty of convenient parking for this free, public event.
