SUMMER REGISTRATION BEGINS APRIL 10
Registration for GCC summer classes begins April 10. Registration hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The first five-week summer session begins June 2 and ends July 2. An eight-week summer session begins June 2 and ends July 24. The second five-week summer session begins July 7 and ends August 7. Classes are available on the GCC main campus, GCC North and at the University-College Center on the ASU West campus. GCC "PREVIEW" EASES TRANSITION FROM HIGH SCHOOL
High school students will learn how to make the transition from high school to college fun and pain-free at High School Preview days at GCC main campus on Thursday-Friday, March 27, 28 and at GCC North on Saturday, March 29, from 10:00 a.m. - noon. GCC North is located at 5727 W. Happy Valley Road. All your questions regarding financial aid, advisement, registration and more will be answered. GCC 'S ANNUAL CAREER EXPO, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2
More than 75 large and small companies will showcase opportunities at Glendale Community College's annual Career Expo, Wednesday, April 2, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., in the Student Union Building. The Career Expo is free and open to the public, offered as an annual community service by GCC. Large companies, such as Arizona Department of Economic Security, United States National Park Service, Wells Fargo Bank, Cigna, and Glendale, Chandler, Mesa, Peoria Police Departments, and many others will be on hand to discuss career opportunities. Career Expo Coordinator Bil Morrill stresses that many smaller firms, which are the backbone of Arizona's economy, will also be well-represented. "Organizations from business, industry, government and education will help attendees to become better informed about the local job market," says Morrill. "While some attendees simply browse, many will make contacts with specific companies or agencies that will launch some brilliant careers."
