GCC Celebrates Lunar New Year Feb. 23
The public is invited to join in Glendale Community College's Lunar New Year 4710 Celebration, 9 a.m . – 1 p.m., Feb. 23, in the Student Union room 104. Admission is free.Highlights of the event include the popular Lion and Dragon dances; martial arts by world famous artists; Asian fashion show; traditional Chinese dances and yo-yo demonstrations. Attendees are invited to try their hands at Chinese watercolor, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Tarot reading,the Beijing mask coloring competition and complimentary Chinese food.
