GCC Veterans Celebration Nov. 10

The public is invited to a celebration from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10 at Glendale Community College honoring those who have served our country through military service. A hamburger/hot dog picnic lunch is provided.

At a brief opening ceremony at the new Veteran Services Center on campus, military and college dignitaries will speak, including Col. Deborah Liddick from Luke Air Force Base and Vietnam veteran and Vice President of Student Affairs Alberto Sanchez.

Members of our military branches, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and other organizations will have information tables and activities including the National Guard's rock wall, video game trailer and football toss.
