New China Cinema at GCC Starting Sept. 10
Learn about "new China" through a series of five films at Glendale Community College. The Communication and World Languages Department offers the series [COMM ED 72083] from 6:30 - 8:45 p.m., Sept. 10; Oct. 1 and 22; Nov. 19; and Dec. 3. The cost is $55. This non-credit class uses a selection of films from the internationally acclaimed "new Chinese cinema" as a way to explore the history, politics, society and economy of China in the 20th century.
