Mirta Hamilton Exhibit Opens Feb. 8
An opening reception is set for 6 to 8 p.m., Feb 8 in the Palm Court Lounge of GCC's Student Union for Mirta Hamilton's exhibit "Retrospective: painting, drawing and prints." The exhibit, which runs through March 3, features the artist's modern works that weave space and time with impressions of Southwestern deserts, mountains, people, animals and perhaps inhabitants of hidden places. Hamilton has exhibited throughout the Southwest including the Phoenix Art Museum, Arizona State University and a several Scottsdale galleries.
