While some community and civic groups are enjoying a summer hiatus, program directors are beginning their searches for qualified individuals to serve as speakers for their membership when regular breakfast, luncheon or dinner meetings resume in the fall. The Glendale Community College (GCC) Speakers Bureau can help to fill that need.

As a free community service, Glendale Community College offers a host of speakers for public and private events. Depending on the requested topic, the speakers bureau can arrange for an authoritative expert from the college to serve as a guest speaker and communicate valuable information to audiences in a way that is both enlightening and entertaining.

To request a speaker, go to the college's website at http://www.gccaz.edu and click on the "Friends and Visitors" tab and then the "speakers bureau" tab. On the right side of the next page, under the "in this section" heading, click on "request a speaker." Fill out the requested information and click on "submit form." Please provide as much detail and allow as much time as possible to identify and schedule the best available speaker for your meeting.

GCC's palm-lined campus is located at 6000 W. Olive Ave., Glendale. GCC North's scenic mountain campus is located at 5727 W. Happy Valley Road, Phoenix. Classes also are offered at the Communiversity @ Surprise, located in the Surprise City Center Complex, 15950 W. Civic Center Plaza, Surprise. Visit http://My.maricopa.edu, click on "Find a Class" and then select the appropriate options to learn about upcoming course availability and registration.
