Summer classes Begin June 1 at GCC

Summer day and evening classes begin June 1 at both campuses of Glendale Community College (GCC) and create opportunities for students to earn credits and enjoy lifestyle enrichment. Classes are offered in areas ranging from core subjects to electives.

Summer I includes options for five-week classes that meet through July 2 and eight-week classes that continue until July 23. Registration for Summer I should be completed by May 28. Summer II offers five-week classes beginning July 7 and ending Aug. 6. Registration for Summer II should be completed by July 2.

For specific course descriptions and class schedules, visit My.maricopa.edu and click on "Find a Class." Along the left side of the screen, check the desired college and Summer I or Summer I. The site also lists space availability within classes. Please note class offerings vary by GCC's main campus at 6000 W. Olive Ave., Glendale, and GCC North at 5727 W. Happy Valley Road, Phoenix.

Additional enrollment information is available by calling the GCC Enrollment Center at 623.845.3333. Placement tests are required for English, mathematics and reading courses.

Looking ahead to the Fall semester, course information for classes that begin Aug. 22 likewise is available at My.maricopa.edu by clicking on "Find a Class" and checking the Fall scheduling option. Day, evening and weekend classes are available.
