More than $2.1 million in scholarships for Fall 2009 are available at Glendale Community College, but the deadline to submit online applications is 4 p.m. this Friday, March 27!
Interested parties can visit www.gccaz.edu/scholarships to see descriptions of all available scholarships. More than 2,800 individual scholarships are available for awarding.
Good news about last-minute applications: For the first time, GCC applications now can be submitted entirely online. An applicant's personal references even can submit letters of recommendation online. According to Frances Mateo, GCC's Coordinator of Development and Scholarship Relations, "Our students are saying the new online application process is awesome! Everything can be done in the comfort of their own homes, and they can apply anytime, day or night. A sophisticated search engine even helps them to find scholarships for which they specifically might be eligible!"
