Are you worried about the economy and business/industry in the Valley particularly? There IS information to inform you. The newly formed Arizona Business and Leadership Club (AZBLC) at Glendale Community College (GCC) will host three, free, public panel discussions on financial topics relating to the current economy. The public is invited to attend. The panels will be composed of leaders of the Valley's businesses and industries most affected by the recent economic downturn. All presentations will be held at 7 p.m.in the GCC Student Union Building, room SU-104.

The first panel discussion will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, the second on Nov. 19 and the third on Dec. 3. Each panel will be composed of three local businessmen, each of whom will speak for approximately 20 minutes about the current state of their industry. For the second hour, audience members will have the opportunity to write questions on index cards that will then be given to the panelists to answer.

For more information, call the GCC Student Life office at 623.845.3525 or the AZBLC Club president, Reylene Thundering-Sky, at 602.931.5324.

GCC is located at 6000 W. Olive Avenue in Glendale. The Student Union Building is on the south side of the campus, off of Olive Avenue. Parking is free.
