For the last 17 years, researchers have been studying what they have come to call HeartMath. They are learning that the heart is more than a pumper of blood and that learning to "control " your heart and studying its connection to your mind and emotions can improve health, reduce stress, help you in sports activities and much more. A co-founder of the HeartMath Institute, Howard Martin has spoken all over the world. The Institute's research has been peer reviewed in the American Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of Stress Medicine, and the Harvard Business Review . It has also been featured on CNN, ABC's World News Tonight, and ABC's Good Morning America.

During his career with HeartMath, Martin has been instrumental in delivering HeartMath's practical, yet dynamic, programs to thousands of participants world-wide. Furthermore, the near-universal appeal of his subject matter has brought Martin to the attention of institutions around the globe. He has conducted training programs and keynote presentations for several Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, all four branches of the U.S. military, school systems, ecumenical organizations and at publicly promoted events in more than 50 cities on three continents.

Through the lecture, you will learn how to manage stress effectively while improving decision making and communication, how to apply the heart's amazing power to improve your physical and mental well-being, and how to manage your emotions more effectively.
