Memorials: Honoring and Remembering
Ceremonies

It is important to remember that memorials often recognize the dedication of college employees over long periods of time or significant contributions made by a community member. As such, a public ceremony should be planned and conducted as part of the honoring process. As part of the ad hoc committee process responsibilities, the Chairperson of that committee will coordinate dedication ceremonies with the appropriate persons. Whenever possible, the college should be notified and invited to attend.

Recognition should also be published in the college's print media and web sites.
