Guidelines for Physical Memorials: Overview
Physical memorials are those material and natural items placed on the campus to honor former employees and persons who have significantly contributed to the college. Examples of physical memorials include plaques, benches and tables, outdoor decorations and various forms of vegetation. For those eligible faculty, staff, community members or students, these options and others exist to remember long-term service and contributions to the college. These examples are not all-inclusive, and the only established prohibition is the naming of buildings and classrooms after persons.
