What are the benefits of actively participating in the MAT Employee Group?:

Active participation ensures that you have a voice on issues concerning salary, benefits and changes to policies.

What is the difference between the MAT Executive Council (MEC) and the Glendale Community College MAT?

The MAT Executive Council (MEC) is comprised of college and district office representatives. The primary purpose of MEC is communication within its membership. The Glendale Community College MAT Association president is the college's representative to the district-wide group.

How is the Glendale Community College MAT Employee Group involved on campus?

MAT provides leadership for achieving the college's mission and goals via representation on critical committees such as the President's Advisory Council (PAC), the Planning and Budgeting Advisory Committee (PBAC), the district-wide Professional Growth, Sabbatical, and Conflict Resolution Committees. Other MAT members serve as resource members on academic, college, and/or ad-hoc committees.

How can I be an active participant in the Glendale Community College MAT?

Make a commitment to attend campus meetings and activities.
