Precision Rifle II LEO289AL
The next level of rifle skill needed for the police precision rifle operator. Covers ballistics, long range firing and field skills.
Class is 16 hours in length and is AzPOST approved for 16 hours of continuing or proficiency training.

Class format: Two contiguous days. Day one is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and day two is 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Costs: 1 credit hour plus $35 lab fee. There is also a $15 registration fee if you are not currently enrolled at GCC.
Class Location: Ben Avery Firing Range located at I-17 and Carefree Highway.
Class Requirements:
Must be a certified peace officer (I.D. will be checked on first day of class)
Students must provide a suitable shoulder fired firearm (A centerfire bolt action rifle equipped with a telescopic sight is the most common weapon used)
140 rounds of ammunition will be needed
Standard safety equipment (eye and ear protection), a billed cap, cleaning supplies (rod, brushes, patches, etc.), knee and elbow protection (optional)
Attendees may also want to consider a mat for prone shooting, spotting scope and a shooting sling
