eGCC Conversion

eGCC teamThe eGCC conversion team has now been in operation for a little over a month and we have plenty of good work to show for our efforts. For the record, since March 1st we have migrated 197 workstations and many more users. We are now down to 132 computers remaining for conversion and the timeline for completion is May 15th. While our intense efforts are paying dividends with respect to the migration status, I would like to take some time and extend my appreciation to those in the Enrollment Center for their constructive feedback. Constructive criticism from the Enrollment Center departments has motivated us to implement two changes in our conversion process.

Listing of available software via eGCC

Many customers in EC were not aware of the software available via the eGCC system. In response to this issue, the conversion team has a written listing of all available default software which will be shared at your initial interview. Programs that are essential for course instruction and/or GCC business processes that fall outside of the standard software listing will be forwarded to Training and Employee development. The goal through this effort is to ascertain the needs of the customer and to effectively accommodate those needs.

Institution of post conversion interview process

We will schedule a sit down meeting with customers after the conversion process to find out how we can serve you better in the future. We believe in the power of having face to face conversation in lieu of an automated questionnaire so we can accurately gauge feelings about our process as well as GCC business related issues. We have a solid goal of consistent communication and will diligently work on any outstanding issues you may find.

As always, please contact the helpdesk for any questions or concerns (x53555).
