Projects
From concept to production, we’re here to help! Technology Research & Implementation, or TRI, assists members of the college community in finding, developing, and implementing new technology solutions in both the classroom and the office environment. Requested projects are proposed on the approved [Project Management form], and viable requests are adopted for development. Once the “wrinkles are ironed out”, then the project can be implemented to serve the greater good of the college community. Many projects already implemented include:
- Multimedia environments that are highly-engaging and widely-accessible, incorporating text, sound, graphics, and full-motion video
- Databases that compile comprehensive information and provide functionality to a variety of systems
- Dynamic communication and efficient information sharing solutions and
- Integrated instructional environments such as the eGCC network.
We’re very proud of these contributions to technology’s culture on campus. Please be invited to see what’s new in TRI. [Specific projects, and their status, can be viewed here.]
If you can dream it, we want to develop it! In technology, there are usually several ways to accomplish the same goal. Part of our objective is to acquire and apply technology options to co-create solutions. So feel free to experiment in the Center and brainstorm with us before you embark your next technology project. Just call 53482 or visit us in HT2-130.
