ART TOUR
The art history instructor will conduct a personal tour of the Phoenix Art Museum or other major museums or galleries for honors students to view exhibits she deems to be of special interest and appropriate for the class. Locations may vary depending on exhibits available. Admission is usually free on these tours.
CONCERT REHEARSAL
The music instructor will accompany honors students to symphony or opera rehearsal. This behind-the-scenes view will enable students to learn what contributes to the final, polished performance.
DRAMA NIGHT OUT
The literature/drama instructor will arrange a special group visit (at reduced prices) to a play at a valley theater for honors students and their guests. The evening may begin or conclude with a preview or a review--a rehash of the play at a nearby pizza parlor or restaurant.
