HTC Frequently Asked Questions
Who can use the computers in the HTC Lab?
The computers in the HTC Lab are only for students enrolled in credit classes. There are computers located at the west end of the GCC Library which are available for anyone from the community. They are limited to Internet access only and they do not have printing capability. All other computers are for GCC students doing coursework or other student-related activities.
What about games?
Games and DVDs can be played when the lab is not busy.They are not allowed during peak usage hours.
I am enrolled in another Maricopa County Community college but I want to work at GCC. Is this possible?
The High Tech Center Lab is used for GCC students only. We are here to support the students in their course work and related student activities. We do not have the resources to serve all of the students in the District.
I want to use the computers in the Lab for personal business. Can I do this?
No, the lab is only for GCC student related courses and activities. Any personal or non academic use is a violation of the HTC Lab policy.
