NOTE: Currently you need to choose an active printer from the printer list. In the Print dialog box, scroll to see additional printers.- Sep. 14 - IKON will begin the installation of the required hardware and software. Selected staff will receive training on the operation of the equipment.
- Sep. 21 - Students will begin using the new system, but will not yet be charged for printing. This will serve to test the system and to familiarize the students with the new printing procedures.
- Oct. 6 - The new GCC Pay for Print system is fully operational.

During the week of 9/8/09 - 9/14/09, we accumulated 44.5lbs of recycled paper from the HT1 and HT2 Pits. Converting that to reams, we are talking about 22.25 reams of abandoned print jobs in that week alone. At 10 reams per box, that is more than 2 boxes. At a cost of $30 per box that is nearly $70 of wasted paper in one week.
We are anxious to join other MCCCD campuses and implement a system that will not only help save money, but will help optimize our printing environment through detailed print monitoring and tracking.
