What Is MEMO?

MEMO (Maricopa Email Messaging 2000) is Maricopa’s email system. MEMO provides employees a seamlessly integrated set of electronic communication tools including SMTP/IMAP compatible email, industry standard directory access, and state-of-the-art enterprise wide time management.

If you do not have a MEMO Account and feel you need an account to complete your daily work, please contact your supervisor or department secretary.

For more information see:

Training and Employee Development Resources:

Listed below are some of the basic MEMO guides provided by Maricopa's District IT department.

What Resources Are Linked to My MEMO Account?

  • MEMO Mail
  • PAT - Personal Administration Tool

Is there a "disk space" quota and how do I monitor my usage?

The allotted disk space per email account is 100MB. The disk space includes any message sent and received from your email account. Messages with various types of attachments require more disk space. It is recommended that you use caution when sending attachments.

MEMO has a built-in warning system for users reaching the maximum capacity of allotted disk space. Once you reach or exceed 70% of the allotted disk space, you will receive a MEMO from the MEMO System Administrator. If you reach the maximum capacity of allotted disk space, you will not be able to receive new mail.

To learn how to monitor your "disc space," please view the MEMO - Check Your Disk Space guide. You can also check your quota using the PAT Tool.
