As part of the One Maricopa Seamless Student Experience, GCC Technology Resources is pleased to announce the implementation of the Single Identity Logon. Beginning Spring Semester, 2013, use your MEID account to access: GCC computer logon, wireless, email, student center, Canvas, and Blackboard.

GOOGLE IS HERE!

GCC Goes Google

On August 6, GCC officially adopted Google Apps as their email and calendaring client. This migration will provide all GCC employees with the following:
  • More storage space available in your email (up to 50 times the industry average per user.)
  • Easier access from any computer or mobile device - all you need is a browser.
  • Spam filtering and message threading reducing clutter and saving time.
  • True collaboration allowing multiple users to work together on documents online, in real time.
  • Shared calendars that allow you to view calendars and schedule meetings with others.

During the migration, you will be provided with a number of different training options including self-help, workshops, and early adopters to answer your questions. "Google Guides" are trained experts who serve as a support base during this transition. For more in-depth information on all training, click here.

Google Mail and Calendar Quick Reference Cards are now available on the MCCCD website! The most-commonly used features for Mail and Calendar are included.

New HRMS Training Materials

As of June 4th, 2012, Maricopa upgraded to a new HRMS system. The following links contain information to help you navigate through the new system successfully. Old bookmarks and shortcuts will not work with the new site. These should be deleted and new bookmarks and shortcuts created.

The 27 minute video tutorial and Guide for Hourly Employeesfor Hourly Employees discuss how to navigate the new Time & Labor upgrade. The four-page Quick Reference Guide and video will assist Board Approved Employees with the new system.
