Computer Lab Usage Guidelines

• You must be an active registered student at GCC to use the Computer Labs. Do not share you username or password with anyone else.
• The Computer Labs are available for GCC students to complete GCC coursework. Computers may not be used for commercial or personal profit or gain.
• To avoid liability issues and distractions to other uses, guests/visitors (including spouses and children) are not permitted in the HTC Computer Labs. Children are permitted in the LMC Computer Lab, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Please set your cell phones to vibrate and conduct your calls outside the Computer Labs.
• Quiet Please! Be considerate of other people using the Computer Labs.
• Food and drinks are not allowed in the Computer Labs or classrooms. Spill-proof water bottles are the exception.
• Tobacco products of any kind are not permitted in the Computer Labs.
• The Computer Labs adhere to the MCCD Computer Resources Standards which can be found at http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/it/trs.htm
• Students using the Computer Labs are subject to the United States Copyright Law of 1976 as amended (Title 17, U. S. Code, the "Copyright Act"), including ensuring that the restrictions that apply to the reproduction of software are adhered to and that the bounds of copying permissible under the fair use doctrine are not exceeded.
