What is eGCC?
eGCC is Glendale Community College’s computing environment. Introduced in 2006, eGCC provides a customized work area for GCC faculty, employees, and those students enrolled in credit classes.
This customized work environment is accessed through your eGCC account. All employees, faculty and students enrolled in credit classes have an eGCC account. Depending on your role on campus, this account grants access to the data, software, and other resources for your individualized needs. Faculty and employees have access to shared department files, while students and faculty have access to shared course folders and files. Software, Internet browsers, a standard suite of tools, library databases, and a wide range of other resources are also accessible to everyone with an eGCC account.
Most eGCC resources are accessible to all eGCC groups – students, staff, and faculty. When a resource is granted to a specific group, e.g., faculty, this is noted and further documented.
Do I have an eGCC account?
If you are a student enrolled in credit classes, faculty, or an employee, you have an eGCC account. To get started using your eGCC account, you will need to obtain your eGCC username and password. Please see the What is my Username and Password? section of this web site for complete information.
