GCC North Campus
Schedule a guided tour! Glendale Community College North (GCC North or GCCN) campus is located in northwest Phoenix, Arizona. Parking is free. GCC North offers complete degree and certificate programs. Facilities at North include a bookstore, fitness center, an astronomy observation pad, a cafe and many lounge spaces where students gather to study or relax.
Designed around the existing native desert landscape, the campus opened in the Fall of 2000 and expanded facilities in 2008 to meet increased student enrollment. The award-winning architecture of North incorporates environmentally friendly techniques including rainwater collection basins that minimize flood risk. Aqua Sal, the A Complex, has 19 classrooms, the College Safety office and a Faculty Resource Center. The library and computer center, media services and computing resources are in the Beshbito (B) building. Chinle (C) building is the hub of the Enrollment Center, campus book store and student support services. It includes lounge space, the Arroyo Cafe and a game room. Dinnebito (D) building has six classrooms, the science laboratories and the Tutoring and Writing Center. El Capitan (E) building contains maintenance and receiving departments.
