Orientation, Policies, and Procedures
Credit students must visit the Fitness Center by the 'Must Show Date' to avoid being withdrawn. Pick up your course syllabus at the Fitness Center for details.
Newly registered students are required to have an orientation. The orientation includes completion of the health history form, blood pressure and heart rate screenings, Fitness Center policy overview and a tour of the facility. A medical release may be required before beginning exercise if you have any known disease, including heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, anemia, epilepsy, asthma, and orthopedic problems.
Please log in at the Fitness Center front desk with your GCC ID card to receive credit for your orientation.
Please visit the GCC Main or North Fitness Center with your student ID card for a walk-in orientation. The best time for walk-in appointments is usually after 1 p.m.
Contact The Fitness Center if you have any questions, 623-845-3800.
