Disbursements

Excess aid (the amount remaining after all tuition, fees, book advance, and any other related charges are covered) will be disbursed through the MSRP process. Students should not expect their funds any earlier than the third week after their earliest class start, dependent upon the MSRP delivery method selected. Students with late starting classes or overlapping classes from a prior term may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursements delayed further. Students selected for Verification

ALL requested verification documentation must be received no later than 120 days after your last day of enrollment – OR - the end of the award year (August 18, 2017 for the 2016-2017 award year), whichever is earlier, to ensure a correct Student Aid Report (SAR) is received by the federally mandated deadline.

GCC verifies all students who are selected by the Department of Education Central Processor for verification even if this verification process has been performed at another institution not within the Maricopa Community College District for the same award year.

Failure to comply with requests and/or missing deadlines will result in forfeiture of Title IV funding.
