Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Guidelines
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are available in twelve locations around the main campus, and three units are also available at GCC North. The AEDs are used in the event of a cardiac arrest and training is available through the EMT and Fitness and Wellness Departments. Over 200 staff members have been trained on how to operate the AED.Please take the time to become familiar with the locations of the AEDs. The units are located in cabinets which are affixed to the wall, and an alarm will sound when the cabinet is opened. The locations of the GCC Main Campus units are as follows:

- HT1 (West side of building)

- LA (Faculty office area)
- LMC (East side of building)
- MA (Classroom wing)
- MU1 (Hallway area)
