LMS - Learning Management System

A tool used by instructors to deliver and / or manage a course. At Glendale Community College the current LMS in use is Blackboard Most LMS provide one or more of the following:

• assist an instructor with keeping track of scores and grades
• provide course content material to students
• facilitate various testing and surveying of students within a course
• provide various communications tools such as discussion boards, blogs and email lists.
