Call or visit the Counseling Department to see how we can help you. Counselors provide services that focus on issue assessment, problem-solving and decision-making processes as they relate to academic, career and personal goal achievement. While counseling is generally short term, it may include building supportive mentoring relationships with students. Counselors may also provide emergency or crisis intervention responses. In this instance, or whenever the counselor determines that a student requires psycho-therapeutic assessment and/or treatment, the counselor will attempt to refer the student to appropriate community mental health resources.
