Demo Day (short for Demonstration, NOT demolition) is an event held early in the spring semester by the Chemistry Department. Instructors each choose exciting and informative demonstrations to share with students. Given the often violent nature of these demos, this is held in the commons area between the Physical Sciences and Life Sciences buildings. Everyone is welcome to suggest things to be blown up, attend, and ask questions. This is our chance to show some of the great reactions that are too dangerous to perform indoors!! |
