When is pay day?
GCC pay dates are every other Friday. If campus is closed on Friday, payday will be the prior business day.
Can I pick up my paycheck early?
No. Early pick up is no longer available. You have three options for receiving your paycheck.
- Have your paycheck mailed directly from the District Office. Most checks are received in the mail on payday. Fill out the Mail Check Form for this option.
- Complete a Direct Deposit Form to have your pay deposited directly into your checking and/or savings accounts. You should also fill out the Mail Check Form to receive your deposit notification at home, unless you plan to pick up your deposit notification on a regular basis at the Cashier's Office on payday.
- Pick up your paycheck on payday at the Cashier's Office employee window. Any checks not picked up by the following Tuesday will be mailed on Wednesday morning.
Can someone else pick up my check for me?
Yes. Bring the Pick Up Authorization Form (see link at top of page) to the Cashier's Office and sign in front of a Cashier's Office employee . You must bring a valid ID that shows both your photo and signature (i.e. driver's license).
The person picking up your check must bring a valid photo ID when picking up your check.
What if I don't pick up my check or deposit notification?
Please Note!
All direct deposit notifications that are not picked up will be disbursed through inter-campus mail.
Any checks that are not picked up on payday will be mailed on the Wednesday morning following payday.
If you will not be picking up your paycheck or deposit notification on a regular basis at the Cashier's office, please fill out a Mail Check Form so the District Office can mail it directly to you. You should receive it on payday - about a week earlier than waiting for the Cashier's Office to mail it!
How can I sign up for, change, or stop Direct Deposit?
You have the option of Direct Deposit to one or two accounts as long as the financial institution is recognized by the Arizona Clearinghouse system. You must deposit your total net check. You cannot direct deposit a portion into an account and have the balance in a "live" check.
What if my address has changed?
Fill out the Change of Address form and submit to District. You will also need to fill out a new W-4 form.
How do I get another copy of my W-2 form?
If you did not receive your W-2 or are in need of a W-2 from a prior year, you can request a copy from the District Support Service Center.
