As part of the West Valley community, we believe it is important to help all individuals who are looking for employment, transitioning between careers, or exploring career options. Career & Employment services are free to prospective students, current students, graduates, alumni and all community members. As an Access Point for
Arizona Workforce Connections, we can also assist community members with locating job search and retraining options available through local
One-Stop Centers operated by Maricopa County and the City of Phoenix.
Odds are, if it relates to career management, career exploration, or job search strategies, we can help you do it. If not, we can help direct you to the appropriate resources, such as our colleagues in the
Counseling Department or off-campus connections.
Our diverse services include: Resume writing instruction and critiques, job opportunities/postings, interviewing advice, instruction in effective job search strategies and use of social media in career management, career exploration, job fairs, employer recruiting events, career management workshops, labor market information, and salary trends and job search assistance. Career & Employment Services also has a computer lab dedicated for career exploration and job search activities.
