About Federal Work Study Programs
The primary mission of the FWS program is to:
- Help students who need employment income and who can benefit from the work experience
- Assist the students in developing good work habits in preparation for entering the workforce.
- Provide valuable employment opportunities. The job should attempt to reflect the educational or vocational goals of the students.
To be eligible for the work study program, students must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), have completed a file at the Financial Aid Office and awarded Federal Work Study funding. If you have any questions about your eligibility or awarding please contact the Financial Aid Office.
