Resumes

GCC Career & Employment Services' Resume and Cover Letter Book will assist you in writing your resume. This book will give you a breakdown of what content should be in your resume and how it should be organized. You will also see samples of resumes and cover letters.

Smart Career Moves- This web site provides information and examples of resumes. Includes a Resume Generator where you can build and format a better than basic resume.

Monster.com: Resume & Letters - Provides samples of various types of resumes, cover letters and resume makeovers. Give strategies for producing a quality resume and a few do's and don'ts.

Test Your Resume Knowledge - Do you think you can answer questions on what employers want in a resume? Take a brief quiz now!

Resume Review - Would you like your resume critiqued? Send a draft of your resume to our office for review. You will receive feedback in 2-3 business days. Please keep in mind that reviews done via our website are not a replacement for normal, one-on-one resume appointments. These reviews are meant to give you quick feedback on your document. And, if we feel you need additional assistance, we will recommend that you make an appointment or attend one of our workshops. Please use your college email (Maricopa.edu) to submit resumes. Please send them to career.services@gcmail.maricopa.edu. Resumes should be sent in one of the following formats: .doc, .docx (preferred), txt, or .rtf.
