A brief autobiography:
Ray
Esparza has been full time CIS Faculty since Fall of
1995. Ray has lived in the valley since retiring from the U.S. Army in 1990 and
has held various networking positions at the State of Arizona, the Resolution
Trust Company, and the city of Scottsdale. Ray is a Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also a Certified Netware Engineer
for Netware 3.12 and Netware 4.1. He is also a Microsoft Certified System
Engineer (MCSE) for Windows NT/2000, Microsoft Certified System Administrator
(MCSA) for Windows 2003, and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) +
Internet. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Ray has also
completed the certification exams for the Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP), the COMPTIA Linux+, A+ and Security+
Certifications and SANS GSEC security.
Ray was
raised in Phoenix and is a graduate of Maryvale
High School. Other
schooling includes an Associates degree from Cochise
College in Electronics Technology, Sierra Vista, Arizona; a Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from Troy
University in Troy, Alabama; and a Master's degree in Information Systems from
Roosevelt University at their Hawaii campus.
