The Business & Information Technology Department (BIT) hosts an array of opportunities for our students. We offer degrees and certificates of completion in fields such as General Business, Management, Marketing, Small Business, Computer Information Systems, Office Applications, Accounting, Cybersecurity and more. Our students can venture into many different fields on their road to success.

The BIT department just received recognition for their Information Technology program through the Best Accredited Colleges organization and ranked second out of 50 colleges and universities for having the best Associate Degree in Information Technology Programs

VITA - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

GCC's Accounting Program has partnered with A New Leaf and will be a new site for VITA - a free tax preparation services to low-to-moderate income individuals and families. From January 30th - April 9th, volunteers will be available on Tuesdays from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in B-105. Free tutoring is available for BIT students.

Tutoring is available for all students. The Business department offers free drop-in tutoring for several disciplines:

  • Accounting (ACC)
  • Business Personal Computers (BPC)
  • Computer Information Systems (CIS)
  • Business (GBS)
  • Microsoft Technology (MST)
