MEDIA IMAGING

Program Description

Multimedia Media Imaging program is a two year vocational program, which offers the foundations of film and video production and combines traditional and digital techniques. Program graduates study basic camera techniques along with coumputer systems used in cinematography, editing and sound. Visual effects, software applications for Photoshop and Avid Compositing are studied.

Students prepare for work in television, film, multimedia digital video and preparation of video for the Web.

Media Imaging Degree requires completion of the General Studies requirements: 25 Credits;
Multimedia Core required courses: 14 Credits; and the completion the Media Imaging Track : 17-20 Credits.

It is recommended that students complete Core courses along with selected General Studies during the first year of study, then proceed to Media Imaging special requirements.
