COMPUTER GRAPHIC DESIGN AAS


Program Description

This Associate in Applied Science in Computer Graphic Design introduces digital and traditional graphic design methods that are essential to anyone involved with design for advertising and graphic produciotn for the print. Students learn layout and design, electronic color, composition and typography to prepare artwork for print media and the Web. Restricted electives offer courses in art history, drawing, life drawing, photography and animation to aid the student in concept development and expression.

The AAS degree in Computer Graphic Design, requires completion of thirty three (33) to thirty six (36) Required Courses which are discipline specific; the General Studies requirements: 25 Credits and seven (7) to eleven (11) credits form the Restricted Electives. Total credit hours required for the degree are 64.
