07/19/04: Various Updates
Several campus M&O activities to be aware of:
- The Gym will be completely unavailable everyone effective Jul 20 through Aug 2. The floors are scheduled to be refinished and this was the agreed time between the M&O, Facilities Technician, Athletics and Instructional Staff. If there is a conflict between your planned activities and the floor care schedule please contact Jeff Glemba, Connie Labuhn or Dave Grant. These are the ONLY days available to perform this maintenance so from M&O's perspective, there are no reschedule options.
- On July 23, there will be a curb installed in the SW parking lot along southernmost end of the lot. The curb will extend east-west from one end of the lot to the other. As noted, the installation will be completed on Friday so normal activities won't be affected. Just letting you know so you don't run into it on Monday.
- The last phase of striping associated with the microsurfacing will be completed over the next two days, Monday and Tuesday. That work will take place in the late evening and early morning. That phase of work is confined to the NE parking lot and campus roads.
- As part of the campus funded work, beginning Wednesday, July 21, through completion, both south lots will be restriped and restenciled, and the NW lot will be restenciled to refresh the pavement markings. Most of the work will be performed in the late evening and should have no impact on the parking lot availability. However, if there is a delay, the activity may have to be completed over daylight hours. We will give you as much notice as possible if it is necessary to take sections of parking lots out of service.
