Master Planning Updates

This is the new north entrance to Palms Café. A corridor will now connect the north and south ends of the building here.

The interior of Palms Café, in the same part of the building it has always occupied, but soon to have a remodeled kitchen.

This is a view from the old vending machine area facing northeast, where the ping pong tables used to be. This section of the building will house new student government offices. To the right is the new game room (to include a new pool table!).

This hallway crosses west to east near the south entrance to Palms Café (the atrium shines in the background). The chambers on the right will allow space for trophy cases and art displays. Other art displays will occupy the new, multi-section meeting room to be fitted in the former eating area of the Student Union.

The atrium will remain in the center of the building, but will become part of the building's interior under a skylight ceiling.

The east side of the Student Union, where the newly cut entrances are currently boarded up for construction. An outside entrance to the newly modeled Student Life offices is planned to be on the left.

During construction, an eating area is provided under a canopy in the mall just outside the Student Union. Ralph's and Grounds for Thought provide food and drinks there.
