Counseling Services

An important role of the instructor is to occasionally refer a student to the Counseling Center. For more information about how to effectively refer a student to the Counseling Center, please visit their web site at http://www.gc.maricopa.edu/ccs.

Professional counselors are available to help students have a successful academic experience. Services offered include personal counseling, career counseling, and crisis counseling. Throughout the year differnet workshops are also offered by the Counseling Center staff to help students better plan for their future.

The Counseling Center also offers a variety of Counseling/Personal Development (CPD) classes. These classes are designed to enhance the personal growth and development of the student. These classes have no pre-requisites and are eligible to transfer to a university as electives.

For more information, visit the Counseling and Career Services web site at http://www.gc.maricopa.edu/ccs.
