Meet Other Adjunct Faculty
Directory Information
As of this writing, GCTIS personnel are implementing a directory of adjunct faculty members at GCC to be maintained by the academic departments that hire them. There is a great demand among students for instructors to be easier to find, e.g. through the Employees Directory web site that does not yet provide contact information for most adjunct faculty members. The use of MEMO accounts (see College Resources > Technology Needs > Establishing an E-mail Account) is key to improving this resource.

Karen Russo is the GCC Adjunct Faculty Representative for the Maricopa Community Colleges Adunct Faculty Association. Karen can be reached at (623) 845-3492 or via e-mail at karen.russo@gcmail.maricopa.edu.
Karen is the Coordinator of Technology Training and Employee Development at GCC and will represent you on the President's Advisory Committee. She is located in the High Tech Center II (see campus map) in room HT2 139. She will continue with the Postcards from the Adjunct newsletter, available in print and online at http://www.gc.maricopa.edu/adjunct/pfta.

The distribution list address for GCC Adjunct Faculty is dl-gc-adjunct@gcmail.maricopa.edu. As of this writing, this list is under construction and will not reach all adjunct faculty; however, at minimum it will reach Adjunct Faculty representatives.
Remembering Pat Turner...
(March 2003) The Adjunct Faculty: In the Loop team is sad to note the passing of Pat Turner, who was previously listed here as an Adjunct Faculty representative for GCC and was one of the originators of this web site. Pat will be sorely missed, but continued progress in bringing GCC adjunct faculty "in the loop" will always serve as a tribute to him and to his dedication to the goals of this project.
