Fiat-Chrysler MOPAR College Automotive Program (CAP)
Glendale Community College is part of a nation-wide effort by Fiat-Chrysler to train and employ entry level automotive technicians for its Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ram and Jeep dealerships.
Once accepted into this associates-degree program, the MCAP student will be issued a Fiat-Chrysler Service Technician I.D. and password at no cost. This will give the MCAP student access to online service manuals and web-based course assignments.
MCAP students will attend 3 class/shop sections at GCC each semester. The student will be employed at the student's sponsoring Fiat-Chrysler dealership.
How to Enroll
The first step is to meet with a Fiat-Chrysler Program coordinator to find out how to become a student. Read more apprenticeship program requirements.
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree curriculum was designed by Fiat-Chrysler and Glendale Community College, and all instructors have been trained in the most current Fiat-Chrysler technology.
Students work on late-model vehicles, components, and instructional materials provided by Fiat-Chrysler, which has also provided the tools and diagnostic equipment used during hands-on training sessions.
This is a two-year associate degree program that gives students an opportunity to work as an intern technician under the direction of the sponsoring dealership’s technicians.
