Are you majoring in Dance?

Meet with a Dance advisor before you enroll in any classes. The performing arts advisors are experts in organizing your class schedule every semester to keep you on track to meet your program requirements quickly.

We offer an Associate in Fine Arts (AAFA) Dance designed for students who wish to transfer to four-year colleges and universities. This two-year course of study provides a solid foundation in technique, performance and academic studies.

VERVE Dance Company

VERVE, the resident dance company at GCC, combines rigorous training and practice with the expert instruction of resident faculty and visiting master artists. VERVE dancers perform as guest artists with the Arizona Dance Festival and Center Dance Ensemble and have been accepted into four-year dance programs such as the University of Arizona and the University of Utah. VERVE’s original choreography and performances have received accolades and recognition within the Maricopa Community College District and in the larger southwest region.
