ENH courses coincide with degree programs and Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) certificates, support general education core for an associate degree or certificate, and help students develop a greater understanding of themselves, their relationship with others, and the diverse world through literature.

ENH courses provide diversified curriculum to align with student interests, cultural diversity, and global awareness to support a global society, while considering the human condition from a multitude of perspectives by exploring culture/ethnicity, religions, personalities, communication styles, psychologies, sexualities, politics, and philosophies. The courses prepare students to contribute to society through personal, social, and professional interactions.

In addition, ENH courses enhance students’ skills in critical thinking, complex problem-solving, written and oral communication, and applied knowledge in real-world settings.
