Small Business Entrepreneurship (CCL)

Program Information

The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Small Business Entrepreneurship program prepares students to acquire the skills, tools and knowledge necessary for successful start-up and operations of a profit-making business. Emphasis is placed on evaluating potential business opportunities, developing a business plan, and practical application of small business operating principles. Students develop a foundation of business start-up strategies and practices that will enable them to prosper in the ever-changing small business environment.

Program Notes

This program is currently not eligible for federal financial aid.

You must earn a grade of C or better for all courses within the program.

If your schedule allows for it, all courses for this CCL may be completed in one (1) semester.

A total of two (2) credits of Restricted Electives are required for this program. Some restricted electives may have prerequisites and/or corequisites that are not included in the total program credits. If you are interested in taking restricted electives that had additional requisites, you will need to adjust your academic plan to incorporate these courses, or obtain permission from your instructor to waive these requirements based on prior experience and/or training.
