Programming and System Analysis (AAS)

Program Information

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Programming and System Analysis program provides an in-depth exploration of different computer language and technical skills. The program includes, but is not limited to the following: operating systems, local area networks, business communication, team roles, and dynamics.

Program Notes

You must earn a grade of “C” or better in all courses required within this program.

CRE101 is a prerequisite course for this program. Credits for this courses are not included in the total program credits. To have this requirement waived you must test Reading Exempt on the District Placement Test.

You must complete six (6) credits of Restricted Electives (RE). Courses used to satisfy other required areas may not be used to complete this program requirement. Some RE courses may have prerequisites/corequisites that are not included in the total program credits. If you are interested in taking courses with additional requisites you will need to adjust your academic plan to include these courses OR obtain permission from your instructor to waive these requirements.

If you are transferring to a state university, you should select general education requirement courses with designation values.
